This year, a total of 10 Uganda startups have met their fate to the semi-finalists list of the competition that is populated with a list of 104 more Agri startups on the continent. Among the qualifying Ugandan solutions is Jaguza Tech that recently bagged funding worth $2000 at the 2019 Africa BlockChain conference and UGX 100M from the Ministry of ICT innovation fund.

The verge of agri solutions in Uganda may still be on its lower lows, but if the bulk bench of finalists features 2 or more startups, it will mean a step ahead for the sector spear heading the journey to Smart agriculture in the country.
