TECNO Camon 16 is the latest mid-range smartphone that has today been launched in Kenya. Succeeding the TECNO Camon 15 which doubles as a 2020 release, Camon 16 brings to play improvements that TECNO Mobile may have missed to unveil before 2020.
Packing a rounded quad rear camera setup (64MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP) as its top lighter, the Camon 16 further equips a dual front camera system which doubles as the first, in the Camon series tier.
The Dual Selfie Camera (48MP + 8MP) is punched under the display forming a horizontal punch hole notch on a 6.9Inch FHD+ Screen. By this standard, the Screen poses lesser bezels, and a 90hz refresh rate is ideal for complex video gaming on the go.
On the Internals grade, an MTK G90T CPU, and a Mali G76 GPU power the Camon 16 with 128GB Internal Storage, 8GB Random Access Memory (RAM), capable of delivering swift performance with multiple Apps running on the base Android 10 Operating system.
Alongside the Display, Camera, and Internals equipped to the Camon 16, what truly excites is USB C. TECNO Smartphones have always been clogged to Micro USB since the Phantom 8 which first shipped the Port standard, now that a photography-centric release has the standard, the Specs sheet glitters better than of any Camon release ever launched.

TECNO Camon 16 retails at KES 28,499 and currently available on Jumia Kenya which has been selected as the brand’s launch partner. Among other sites where you can order the Camon 16 include: Kilimall Kenya, and Price in Kenya.

For now, the Smartphone has been launched in Kenya alone, but based on the brand’s African goal, Camon 16 will be available in Uganda and Nigeria by the time October 2020 shines brighter.
