The phones that will lose WhatsApp support
- Smartphones with Apple IOS 7 & Below
- All Windows Powered Smartphones
- All Android 2.3.1 powered Smartphones
The best way users with non-supported Smartphones can keep up the WhatsApp taste is by cruising with the KaiOS powered feature phone series like the MTN Kamunye and TECNO T401 or purchase supported Smartphones like those on the Android 9 list as recommended on WhatsApp’s FAQ page.
