US sanctions trimmed against Huawei are set to harm customer and consumer experiences worldwide. Having awarded Huawei an entry to the entity list in May 2019, the Chinese based ICT company has since then devised ways to cop-up with the restrictions, but still deliver quality products to meet consumer expectations.
Earlier this week, Huawei revealed how consumer experiences will be affected during its 16th Annual Global Analyst Summit held in Shenzhen China.
Key takeaways from the summit included how Huawei together with its partners can weather through difficult times, achieve win-win outcomes, and accelerate the Internet of things.
With an opening keynote, Huawei’s rotating Chairman Guo Ping said: “Over the past year, many technologies became unavailable to us. Despite this, Huawei struggled to survive and is striving to move forward.”
With vast contribution to the ICT industry spanning to the company’s lifetime from the day it was founded. Huawei has been committed to bridging the digital gap to more people, homes, and organizations with fast pace standards.
In the past 30+ years, Huawei has successfully deployed over 1,500 networks in more than 70 countries across the world, serving a tune of 3billion people. Over 600 million customers use Huawei Smartphones and Internet connection devices to facilitate their digital experience.
So, the more, the Unites States triggers more clauses banning Huawei to fetch technology components and partnerships with in-country companies. It’s the more user experience will bezel down as the fate is with non-Google services Smartphones.
On the other hand, Huawei estimated that a tune of 23 trillion US dollars will represent the global digital economy. Likely, with the US undermining trust in supply chains, the statistics may change.
Looking ahead, Huawei promises continued investment and innovation in three domains: connectivity, computing, and smart devices for its customers worldwide as Mr. Guo Ping concluded.
Today the world is an integrated collaborative system. The trend of globalization shouldn’t and will not likely be reversed. Fragmented standards and supply chains benefit no one, and further fragmentation will have a severe impact on the entire industry. The industry as a whole should work together to strengthen IPR protection, safeguard fair competition, protect unified global standards, and promote a collaborative global supply chain.
