Shell Uganda has for the past few months triggered its Go well buzzers with a new Club rumored to come to play. The Shell Club is the newest loyalty wing from the brand’s official licensee Vivo Energy Uganda.
With Sighs of what it could be like, why it is important and the expected roll out sequence in the club. You can relate the Shell Club as a revamped model of the Vpower Club card that awarded members with loyalty points and bonuses.
During the Shell Club launch hosted yesterday at Sheraton Kampala Hotel, the Vivo Energy Managing Director inked their plans of making Shell the best customer centric wing in Uganda as possible as they can.
The Club is powered by a loyalty card and an AI-powered Sticker that can be glued to the back of a Smartphone or even any other personal device. Interestingly, each time you swipe the card/sticker, you receive bonus points for your next purchase at a Shell station.
Among the authorized centers that approved their presence on the Shell Club include Boshe Car service centers, Transtel, Capital Kitchen among others that allow users to use their the Club cards as a Cashless mode of payment
To join the Shell Club, customers simply have to check-in to a Shell service station for registration and receive 500 Instant points of card activation.
Hence, being the first cashless mode of payment alongside physical VISA/master card payment cards, the Shell Club is one with tones of reliability and service excellence as affirmed during the official launch yesterday.
