<p>Technology hubs are home to Budding startups in Africa with Uganda housing some of the best well-faciliated versions away from Kenya that leads the pike by a slightly higher margin granting it the title &#8220;Africa&#8217;s Silicon Valley&#8221;.</p>

<p> While Tech hubs are best known for housing grass-root startups and breeding grounds for funding. You could choose to signup at your nearest hub for office space or even a well-curated environment to hold set up your business.</p>

<p>Given the fact that getting a <a href="https://techpointmag.com/get-ura-tin-number/">URA Tax Identification Number (TIN)</a> is as easy as important as having boosted public recognition, Its the Same way having an address gives more mileage to either your Startup or Business set up at a local hub. </p>

<p>In Uganda, Hive Colab and Innovation Village boast as the most popular hubs with Outbox completing the Podium slate. However, more hubs rise up from the grassroots time by time with a majority outside major Startup circles, but still having fair rates and co-working spaces. </p>

<p>Nonetheless, here is a list of Tech hubs in Uganda we&#8217;ve managed to compile so far with their monthly rates in UGX.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Tech Hubs In Uganda</h2>

<table id="tablepress-41" class="tablepress tablepress-id-41">
<thead>
<tr class="row-1">
	<th class="column-1">NAME</th><th class="column-2">LOCATION</th><th class="column-3">MONTHLY CHARGE (Individual)</th>
</tr>
</thead>
<tbody class="row-striping row-hover">
<tr class="row-2">
	<td class="column-1">Hive Collab</td><td class="column-2">Kanjokya Street, Kamwokya</td><td class="column-3"></td>
</tr>
<tr class="row-3">
	<td class="column-1">Innovation Village</td><td class="column-2">3rd Floor Ntinda Complex, Ntinda, Kampala</td><td class="column-3"></td>
</tr>
<tr class="row-4">
	<td class="column-1">OutBox</td><td class="column-2">Lumumba Avenue, Kampala</td><td class="column-3"></td>
</tr>
<tr class="row-5">
	<td class="column-1">Kafeero Foundation</td><td class="column-2">Muyenga</td><td class="column-3"></td>
</tr>
<tr class="row-6">
	<td class="column-1">The Tribe</td><td class="column-2">Plot 8 Bukoto Street, Kamwokya, Kampala</td><td class="column-3"></td>
</tr>
<tr class="row-7">
	<td class="column-1">Makerere Innovation &amp; Incubation</td><td class="column-2">Makerere University Kampala</td><td class="column-3"></td>
</tr>
<tr class="row-8">
	<td class="column-1">Design Hub</td><td class="column-2"></td><td class="column-3"></td>
</tr>
<tr class="row-9">
	<td class="column-1">The Space</td><td class="column-2">Plot 4 Kanjokya Street, Kamwokya</td><td class="column-3"></td>
</tr>
<tr class="row-10">
	<td class="column-1">Office Hive</td><td class="column-2">7th Floor The Cube, Kisementi, Kamwokya</td><td class="column-3"></td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>

<p>Majority of the Tech hubs in Uganda partition their rates into daily, weekly and Monthly tiers. But with the above list, we considered a monthly digest of the known hubs though they offer separate packages away from the individual freelancer packages above.</p>

<p>Luckily, almost all the Tech hubs range between 15,000/= and 20,000/= as the maximum daily fees that are charged to visitors checking in for 1 day or less. Although some hubs like Office Hive charge a slightly higher fee from what the competitors offer, the co-working space services offered remain the same with free Internet, conducive environment as the default addons per Individual package.</p>
