TECNO Camon 15 is the latest Camon series release that has been launched in Uganda today. In partnership with MTN, Tecno Mobile Uganda has launched the Camon 15 as another multi-camera centric Smartphone for mid-range customers.
As an Initial offer, the Camon 15 comes with 3GB of free MTN Data every month for 3 months, and 100% bonus on every data bundle purchased during the grace period. This means a resurrection of the Spark 4 and Camon 12 launch streak that too offered free MTN data to customers.
“We are here today to continue fulfilling our promise of enabling all Ugandans to experience the best smartphones while using the best internet connectivity in the country. We chose to partner with MTN because we are both customer-centric brands and this partnership is for the benefit of both our customers.” Said Shiva Zhong, the TECNO Mobile Uganda director.
The Tecno Camon 15 comes in 3 variants, an Air version (relatedly the Lite edition), the base Camon 15, and a premium finish Camon 15 Premier. Differences in the 3versions are based on price tag, Storage/RAM capacity, and general camera setup.
With a semi-premium finish, the base Camon 15 comes with a quad rear camera setup (4 sensors), the Camon 15 Air with a tripple setup (3 cameras), and then, the close to flagship entrant Camon 15 Premier with a quad rear camera setup (4 Sensors), but with a pop-up selfie camera.
Likely, the Punch hole notch houses the front selfie camera for the base and Air models on an HD+ 6.6Inch screen size as revealed at the launch, in addition to the base Camon15 with 4GB RAM + 64GB Internal Storage as listed on the device’ Specifications sheet:

To the device color grades, an appealing gradient design with textural tangible lines rules the device’ rear-end (back). Yet again, the Fingerprint sensor also sits as the rear central piece with a rounded style. But still, the actual catch is the device’s quad-camera setup.
In addition, Tecno Mobile inked a new Intelligence vision optimization solution dubbed TAIVOS. The AI feature adjusts the sensors in lowlight conditions to deliver crisp quality Images with little or no Image Noise.
However, we’re not sure of what this new technology has to offer, but for now, we shall test how it best performs in our impressions and review articles soon, now that the Smartphone has been launched and available in Uganda at UGX 688,000.
