UCC’s battle with PayTv providers will have subscription rates increase soon

UCC which is Uganda’s certified regulator to oversee telecommunicatoions and broadcasting services in the country.

Releasing a tough notice in the papers a few days back refering to PayTV providers as uncompliant companies. PayTv providers bounced back with a reply to UCC’s intended term regarding to them as the uncompliant brands to deal with.

Subscription fees by PayTv providers will subscriqently increase with time if UCC doesnot look into its latest license fees and agreements witht eh nationwide providers.

Startimes, GoTv, Dstv and alot more providers are all on the line to revise their rates as UCC insists on revising the current Licenses granted to all PayTV providers in Uganda.
