MySmile App is a new mobile suite of services that has been launched by Smile Communications Uganda to ease customer access to packages. Having pioneered 4G LTE broadband in Uganda, Smile Communications has on the other hand been slow with rolling out the all-new mobile app after rival telcos MTN and Airtel.
Well, with the new MySmile App, customers will be able to carry out a bunch of functions at the comfort of their smartphone screens unlike before. Previously, you could only buy data bundles through digital channels like Payway and the Smile login portal, but with the App, a customer gets to buy data by simply utilizing his/her remaining account balance.
Other Smile services available in a few clicks for customers include the ability to view data bundles, voice minutes, and airtime balances which would have required special USSD codes without the App. Additionally, the app provides a much easier portal to access the telco’s services, and here is a list of functions available on the new MySmile App.
- Check Balances (Airtime, Data, Voice minutes);
- Recharge data bundles, voice bundles, and airtime and pay on the App;
- Convert Airtime credit to data and voice minutes;
- Share Airtime between their SmileNumbers;
- View and download history for usage and purchase,
- View personal information, SIM//Device information and KYC status,
- Contact Smile Customer Care with one click;
- Engage Smile on all Smile social media platforms
The new MySmile App is available for download on both Android and iOS (for iPhone users). Once downloaded, and installed from the Google Playstore or the Apple store, you can get started by entering your Smile Number/Username and Password to access the main app dashboard.
According to Smile Uganda’s head of marketing Jayanta Dutta, the new mySmile app is their latest innovation and cements the telco’s commitment to put customers at the center of all services they offer for better experiences.
” The MySmile App makes it easy to see balances, recharge and share airtime, and enjoy the best mobile broadband in Uganda. Customers now have easy access to manage services securely in the palm of their hands, and recharging to stay online has never been easier.”
