The Infinix Hot 12 series lineup is reportedly set to launch in Uganda early next month (May) according to credible sources. First launched in 2015, Infinix Mobile’s Hot series manifest battery performance, and durability with some of the best-selling releases being the Hot 4, Hot 8, and the Hot 10.

This year, the smartphone manufacturer targets to start its 2022 launch season with the Hot 12. It succeeds the Infinix Hot 11 that was launched last year, and just like its predecessors, multiple variants tag along to its launch.

Infinix Hot 12 Series devices include the base Hot 12, the Hot12 Playe, and the Hot 12i. Much as no official documentation is in place, the Hot 12 series are expected to pack a dual rear camera design, meaning, a big lenses setup guided with a quad-LED flash.

As per known specs, the main shooter is a 13MP snapper, and the secondary lens is a 12MP telephoto snapper. To the front, it is believed that a 2MP front camera is punched under the 6inch screen display.

By pricing, the devices will cost different just like the trend has always been with its predecessors, the base HOT 12 is expected to ship a 4GB + 128GB memory formation with the maximum variant hosting 7GB + 128GB. This means, we could see the Hot 12 priced between UGX 450,000 to UGX 650,000.

At the moment, not alot is known, but the Hot 12 series are set to be unveiled on the Infinx Mobile launch pad on 1st May 2022, more so, a partnership with any of the mobile telecom carriers say MTN Uganda, or Airtel will not be a surprise to award first time buyers with free data.

Infinix Mobility is geared up to launch its latest Note series entrant, the Infinix Note 10 in Uganda. Succeeding the Infinix Note 8 which was launched last year, the Note 10 series is rumored to be a complete package for users with high notch needs on a low budget. The device is rumored to ship in two variants, the Note 10 pro and basic Infinix Note 10 Smartphones that will route maxed performance with some of the latest mobile standards.

An insider at Infinix Mobile Uganda notes that ” the Note 10 series have been created so that professionals, entertainment lovers, and everyday users alike can enjoy through asymmetry of aesthetics and performance.” But as the trend has been with the company’s Note series releases, we may see a bigger display smartphone with a couple of improvements from its predecessors.

Much as the Infinix Note 10 series in Uganda have made a naming jump from the Infinix Note 8 by leap jumping the Note 9, major upgrades on the new series are tamed around camera functionality, display, onboard specifications, and a battery capacity boosted with fast charging at 33W making the device charge faster than its predecessor.

With 6 Cameras, the Infinix Note 10 is believed to equip over 4 rear cameras and a dual front selfie setup to deliver crisp full detailed images. Also, the device’s video quality is rumored to be maxed at 4K up from the Full HD trend shipped by its predecessors for stable and clear video clips captred on the device.

However, just like the Infinix Note 8 and Infinix Note 7 series, the Infinix Note 10 series are believed to have ditched the Xpen which was best known as a key accessory for Infinix Note series devices and last launched with the Note 6 series. But in its absence, the Infinix Note 10 is expected to sport a 6.95-inch screen to make swipes, and click easier without the need for a stylus pen.

At the moment, Infinix Mobile Uganda has confirmed June 8th, 2021 as the launch date for the all-new Infinix Note 10 series, and 3 variants are lined up to be launched at different pricing levels to favor budget-friendly shoppers. And once the device launches in Uganda, we shall discover what it has to offer by specifications and build quality.

The Infinix Hot 10 Play has been launched in Uganda after weeks of rumors and expectations. Similar to all Hot series releases, the smartphone is a host to an impressive battery capacity clocked at 6000mAh as its key feature. Also, the device succeeds the Infinix Hot 9 Play which left the launch pad in 2020 before the base Hot 10 and Hot 10 Lite became available in Uganda.

During the smartphone’s launch today in Kampala, Infinix Mobile marked the Hot 10 play as a device designed for young people who demand high-quality video and gameplay on a widescreen display. By this standard, the Infinix Hot 10 Play launch in Uganda ships a new standard in the mid-range market sphere with a bigger display, gaming processor, and a duo rear camera setup.

Being a 2021 release, the Inifinix Hot 10 Play sports a 6.82-inch screen with a waterdrop notch and a 720*1640 pixels (~263 PPI density) resolution. At launch, the company confirmed testing the Infinix Hot 10 play battery capabilities with up to 55.7 days in standby mode or 53.4 hours of call time. Additionally, the XOS in-system ultra power mode allows the phone to run efficiently even with only 5% of battery life left.

With an Android 10 operating system with XOS 7, the Infinix Hot 10 Play launches in Uganda as a Smartphone designed for midrange users in need of a sleek, yet great performance companion. Given the fact that it ships a gaming-centric Helio G35 octa-core processor, the Hot 10 play could be a step ahead of its predecessors with better functionality pimped to its overall performance grades.

The Infinix Hot 10 Play in Uganda also comes in two variants, a 2GB RAM / 32GB ROM version, and a 4GB RAM / 64GB ROM version with slight price differences but the same non-storage specifications available from UGX 480,000 to UGX 550,000 at all Infinix Mobile outlets across the country. However, we shall test what the Hot 10 Play has to offer with our unboxing and review articles in the coming weeks to gauge the device’s general performance standards.

Infinix Note 8 is officially off the launch pad in Uganda with an immediate availability date. Succeeding the Infinix Note 7 which was launched earlier this year, the Note 8 launches with a new kit of upgrades addressed by Infinix Mobile as signals of better user experience.

Powered a Mediatek G80 Processor, the new Infinix Note 8 comes with a Note 8i as its launchpad companion. Picking a leaf from the Note 7 which was powered by a MediaTek G70 processor, the Note 8 yet again braces MediaTek’s latest line of gaming chipsets.

Given the fact that Infinix Mobile’s Note series lane is known to ship huge screens, big battery, and flagship performance, the Note 8 brings to play a total of 6 Cameras to prove its Note status a notch higher.

A quad rear camera setup, and a dual front camera setup define the Smartphone’s main feature levels. With a dual punch hole notch, the Infinix Note 8 looks different from its Note 7 predecessor, and it’s by no doubt that Infinix Mobile just upgraded its Note series lineup a step higher.

As per the launch Specs, the Note 8 front camera sports a 16MP lens and a depth sensor finishing its dual selfie lineup. To the back, a 64MP Main Snapper, a 2MP macro lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP AI lens finish the device’s rear camera lineup.

However, picking a leaf from its predecessor’s main features, the Note 8 doesn’t ship a fingerprint sensor to the back, but its instead equipped on the power button with a wide surface area.

Launched together with the Infinix Note 8i, the base Note 8 serves as the main Smartphone, as the Note 8i differs with a smaller 6.78Inch LCD Screen contrary to the main 6.95Inch variant. Likely, the 8i drops the secondary selfie camera lens, and further equips a 48MP main snapper to the rear instead of 64MP.

Hence, with the Infinix Note 8 series off the launchpad and currently available in Uganda, we expect the Note 8 to be a Note series gamechanger since it brings to play a MediaTek gaming processor, a newer display notch, and on top of all, a USB C port powering a 5200mAh inbuilt battery.

So, at UGX 768,000, the launched Infinix Note 8 is somewhat affordable with a midrange price tag to its release date in Uganda. For now, this is yet another amazing Infinix release, but we shall confirm what it has to offer in our upcoming review and unboxing articles.

Infinix Mobile Uganda has today revealed plans of launching its latest Note series flagship in Uganda. The Infinix Note 8 will succeed the Note 7 which was launched mid this year with improved features leaping a new trend of Infinix Note devices without an Xpen.

As per insights from Infinix Mobile Uganda, the Infinix Note 8 will ship a new grade of features and a much affordable price tag attached to its mid-range status.

Headlined by a dual punch-hole display notch, Infinix Note 8 features are many tagged around its camera prowess tamed at a total of 6 Cameras with 4 to the back and a dual selfie lineup (2 lenses).

Much more like a standard, the Smartphone is expected to equip its fingerprint sensor on the Power button like on the Infinix Note 7. But unlike its predecessors, a 5200mAh battery capacity powers the device’s thorough uptime.

As per the rumored internals grade, the Smartphone is expected to ship a new MediaTek G80 chipset away from the old G70 equipped by the Note 7. The new G80 chipset is designed for better performance and response rates great for processor load services like Mobile Gaming.

Infinix Note 6 was the last Note release to have a Stylus PEN with an onboard dedicated slot. With the Note 8, No XPEN is expected to ship with the device

Well, as per spills from Infinix Mobile Uganda, the Note 8 will be a choice for users who prefer a fast perfomance phablet, yet battery-centric without necessarily having to opt for a battery-designed releasee like the Infinix Hot 10.

Also, USB-C is rumored to be the supported charging port standard juicing the device’s 5200mAh inbuilt battery. However, with more features expected to be shipped by the Infinix Note 8, its price tag would further be a point to note since it’s a mid-range release.

The Smartphone is rumored to be priced between UGX 780,000 to UGX 880,000 with a slight margin from the Note 7 which is still available on the market.

With a launch date of 6th November 2020, we expect the Infinix Note 8 to be the greatest Note series release ever unveiled in Uganda by Infinix Mobile. For now, we can’t confirm the Smartphone’s performance and feature levels, but we shall discover what it has to offer once we receive a review unit of the device.

Infinix Hot 10 is the latest hot series release succeeding the Infinix Hot 9 and Hot 8. The Hot 10 was launched in Uganda in mid-October 2020 and promises greater features as compared to any of its predecessors that are best known for great battery performance.

Well, we received an Infinix Hot 10 review unit a few weeks back from Infinix Mobile Uganda, and by boxing structure, the Smartphone ships a midrange texture to its packaging style asserting its standard as a budget-friendly release.

Inside the box, a single Infinix Hot 10 unit is accompanied by minimal accessories making its packaging light yet strong on detail. Bundled accessories include a charging brick, micro Usb cable, Pair of headsets, rubber phone cover, SIM extractor PIN, and Xclub leaflets.

Infinix Hot 10 Box Contents:

Infinix Hot 10 Specifications

Launched

October 2020

Operating System

Android 10 w/ XOS 7.0

Processor

Octa-core Mediatek Helio G70 Chipset

Display

6.78 Inch Screen, 720 x 1640 pixels resolution w/ punch hole notch

Network

2G/3G/4G Dual Nano SIM

Storage

64GB expandable via Micro SD Slot

RAM

3GB

Rear Camera

16 MP + 2 MP + 2MP + AI lens (Quad setup)

Front Camera

8 MP

Battery

5200mAh

Available Colors

Obsidian Black, Ocean Wave, Amber Red, and Moonlight Jade

Extra Features

Fingerprint sensor, Face Unlock

Price

UGX 557,000

Infinix Hot 10 Spec

Even though the Infinix Hot 9 was launched as another Big Battery release with an advantage ahead of the Hot 8, only the Hot 10 seems to be the best contender with user experience penned down to its overall features breakdown.

Equipping a MediaTek Helio G70 Processor – same as the Infinix Note 7. Infinix Hot 10 houses an ARM Mali-G52 MC2 GPU alongside 3GB RAM and 64GB of Internal Storage (ROM).

By Camera grades, Hot 10 sports a Quad Rear Camera setup (4 Cameras), of these, the main snapper is a 16MP lens then a 2MP Macro Lens + 2MP Bokeh lens + an AI lens function with a Quad-LED Flash to the back.

To the front, the smartphone sports a 6.78 Inch Screen with a Punch hole notch to its display standard. Under the Notch, a lone 8MP Camera is supported with dual flashlights sported to the top of the device screen.

Importantly, the Hot 10 equips a 5200mAh inbuilt battery capable of delivering the best uptime possible of at least 2-3 days if well optimized. More so, Android 10 is the device’s base operating system giving it a 2020 touch compared to its predecessors.

Infinix Hot 10 Price in Uganda

Infinix Hot 10 is currently available in Uganda at all authorized Infinix stores around the country. Priced at UGX 557,000, the Hot10 comes with a Lite version which is expected to be priced lower than the base version.

By Price, the Infinix Hot 10 is priced a little high compared to the introductory price for previous Hot-series releases. But this can be attributed to the fact that the smartphone ships new features and a multi-camera setup.

So, in case you’re searching for budget-friendly smartphones you can buy in Uganda, the Infinix Hot 10 can be added to your list even with a slight hike above the UGX 500,000 affordability mark.

Infinix Hot 10 is set to launch in Uganda by mid-October as a successor to the Infinix Hot 9 that was launched in May last year. Promising upgrades in system Internals, bigger battery, new display standard, and a quad-camera setup, the Hot 10 may redefine the Hot series range with new features on the line.

With 5200mAh of battery capacity, the Infinix Hot 10 brings to play a new standard not equipped by any of its predecessors – the Hot 8 and Hot 9. This signifies new-age features on top of just maximum uptime.

By Storage, the Smartphone houses 64GB or 128GB of Internal Memory. Likely, 4 or 6GB of RAM supports the Smartphone’s runtime volatile memory for fast performance levels.

To the front, the Infinix Hot 10 sports a Punch hole display notch codenamed Infinix-O display with a 6.78Inch Screen emitting an HD 720*1640 pixels resolution.

According to Infinix Mobile, with the hot 10, customers will be treated to a bigger display, and a greater horizon for their viewing pleasure designed to enhance Entertainment and mobile gameplay.

Price and what to expect once the Hot 10 is launched

As per the rumored specs, Infinix Hot 10 will have 2 variants with a Base edition, then a Lite Edition as per the Internal memory and RAM listing. 4GB RAM/64GB ROM for the Lite version, then 6GB RAM / 128GB ROM for the base if not PRO version.

By price, the Smartphone may cost between UGX 380,000 – UGX 480,000 based on the launch pricing strcture for the Infinix Hot 9 and Hot 8.

At the moment, Infinix Mobile has not revealed details on the official reserved retail pricing (RRP) and availability schedule. But as per the launch pad, the Smartphone will launch in Uganda by 10th October 2020 (Early October).

For now, expect the Hot 10 to bring to play close to Infinix Note 7 features on a budget, since it equips the same processor, display type, and memory specifications. Hence, once launched, we shall publish the device’s full features and how much it will cost in Uganda.
