The ride hailing industry in Uganda majorly dominated by 3 companies on both the Boda hailing side and taxi version. Talk about Taxify and listen to the company that shook things up with barely 2 years on the local scene. In October 2017, Taxify stretched out to the taxi-hailing sector before opting a shake-up to the boda hailing industry in January 2018 giving some great competition to SafeBoda in its own league.

In case you thought Uber flying taxis are far from the future, by 2020 many of these will be trailing the skies around the world after a display of the flying prototypes today. The Bell nexus flying taxi is the first finished prototype that may hit skies early next year as exhibited at CES 2019 and shared by Cnet on twitter.

Breeded as a startup based in Nakulabye (one of the Kampala Suburbs), Pikime has its goals spread out higher in a competitive market

In a bid to shoot the trailing middle income status in Uganda, ride hailing services are the talk of the day with exclusive offers rounding up per month. But then, choosing the best option to juggle with requires you to have a favorable rates card per service. Additionally knowing what each company has to offer could be a hefty task for another day
