Airtel Uganda and the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) have today opened a new chapter of easing tax payments in Uganda. The partnership between these two brands relies on its mobile finance platform __Airtel money which can now be used to pay taxes directly to URA without necessarily visiting a nearby branch.

The National Information Technology Authority (NITA) is a Government agency that not only survived the 2018 agency scrap off but also strengthened its position as the initial igniter of a well-connected country. Through its National backbone, NITA-U has plans of making Internet connectivity fully available in each and every corner of the pearl of Africa without forgetting the non-4G coverage areas.

MTN Uganda has officially launched MoMoPay in Arua town. MoMoPay is a cashless payment system that enables customers to pay for goods and services a directly from their mobile money accounts at no extra cost as the service is free of charge.

The new Mega Tok bundles have been unveiled today by the red camp and it appears like Airtel has always had such a plan in the pipeline to bring affordable monthly bundles back to the squeeze. As a matter of fact, all you should know is that the unending competition between telcos from the data zones has now crossed over to Voice bundles lane again.
